New Zealand vs Australia – first T20 cricket match

New Zealand host Australia in the first T20 international of their three-match series at Sky Stadium in Wellington.

The hosts have set Australia a target of 215 on the back of a 113-run partnership between Devon Conway (63) and Rachin Ravindra (68).

Glenn Phillips and Mark Chapman took the Kiwis past 200 after Australia dismissed Conway and Ravindra in quick succession. Australia captain Mitchell Marsh was the pick of the bowlers, dimissing Ravindra and giving away only 21 runs in his three overs.

Both teams go into the series on the back of comfortable home T20 series wins and are building up to the T20 World Cup in June.
